This nurse is compassionate and professional. As we prepared for our CHAP survey, this nurse stood out, and she was always calm, collected, and ready to help. Her nursing skills are excellent with a clinical foundation and a commitment to good care. This nurse has the ability to connect with people on a human level. This nurse creates a sense of safety and encouragement for her patients. Her approach fosters trust. She goes above and beyond every day, often taking the extra time to ensure someone understands, feels more confident, or simply feels heard. She’s a vital part of our team and an inspiration to those around her.

This nurse had multiple patient compliments: From a patient’s wife- “She is compassionate and kind. She went above and beyond for my husband. She spent the extra time to ensure he was safe. She called his oncologist to ensure his medication was accurate and being delivered. She communicated with the hospital regarding discharge recommendations so she could assist, and the patient did not have to go out again, which was very difficult for him to leave home.”
