From the very first day, she brought not just her medical expertise but also a calming and compassionate presence.
After my C-Section delivery, I was physically drained, emotionally overwhelmed, and unsure of what to expect next. Everything was new in the healing process and for my newborn baby. In the midst of all this, one nurse became my anchor. Her name is Christine. From the very first day, she brought not just her medical expertise but also a calming and compassionate presence. She was patient and detailed in explaining every step of my recovery, whether it was how to manage my incision pain, the correct way to move in and out of bed, or how to use medical equipment to support my healing. She made sure I understood. She repeated things kindly when needed, never making me feel like a burden.

What stood out most was how she seamlessly combined care for me and my newborn. She brought in valuable lactation resources that helped me understand the different breastfeeding techniques and how to handle the baby during feeds. She didn’t just drop off pamphlets; she went through the information and answered all my questions with kindness and clarity. She would always ask if I had any more questions.

She paid close attention to both my needs and the baby’s, gently guiding me on when to breastfeed, assisting with latch issues, and even taking time to change the baby so I could rest. She brought a sense of order and reassurance to a time that could have easily felt chaotic. Her dedication, attention to detail, and genuine passion for her patients left a lasting impression on me and my mom, who was also assisting me.  She stood out as a nurse who went above and beyond the call of duty. A true example of excellence in patient care.
