Having chronic illnesses can be so isolating, so having a caregiver who is attentive enough to say just the right thing at the right moment is priceless.
Haley Sun has been such a blessing to me. To think that I almost missed out because I was looking at changing healthcare services because of a bad experience…I am so glad this wonderful nurse showed up on my doorstep!
I receive monthly IVIG infusions in my home to treat Myasthenia Gravis. Because of the many allergies and other medical conditions, my care alone can sometimes intimidate caregivers. In fact, Haley took over as my nurse in June 2024 after a bad experience with a prior nurse.
Haley is the consummate professional. She is highly skilled, compassionate, caring, patient, attentive, and knowledgeable. She knows the times when I am not feeling my best so she just sits there allowing me to rest. She is also engaging just at the right time when I need to hear something funny or family related. Having chronic illnesses can be so isolating, so having a caregiver who is attentive enough to say just the right thing at the right moment is priceless.
Even though at times, my veins make it difficult to draw blood or insert an IV, Haley knows exactly what to do, and she does it without inflicting any pain.
Although she is in our lives due to my medical condition, having her come into our home each month is a welcoming experience and not one that I dread. It means a great deal to me and my family because of the unfortunate prior experience that led Haley into our lives. When she took over, she immediately addressed and rectified the issues. By advocating for me (something I was not going to do) through contacting her supervisor, she showed great empathy and also helped to ensure no other patient would experience what I did. I found those actions brave and commendable of her.
Haley is a great representative of what I’m told Naven Health is about: “delivering highly specialized, truly exceptional infusion care.”
Thank you for hiring Haley Sun and allowing her to be the nurse who cares for me. So often, it is what others may consider the “small things” or the intangibles that mean the most when caring for those with chronic illnesses, because we can feel as if we are a burden to others. However, it gives me and my husband great peace and comfort knowing Haley is my nurse.
