At 2 months postpartum, my gallbladder needed to be removed. I was taken by ambulance from Pontiac to Bloomington, and it was an incredibly scary situation. I had to leave my 2-day-old infant and was completely devastated. Macy sat down and talked to me. She made me feel heard, understood, and cared for far beyond my medical needs. She allowed me to vent my frustrations, cry, and so on, without judgment. She offered to bring a breast pump into my room and allowed my baby to visit. She made me feel so at ease. She really calmed me and checked on me multiple times. I'm so grateful!
