I got admitted to MSU after being at the ER due to abdominal pain. Ms. Ruiz took very good care of me. She stepped in when the other nurse messed up my veins after trying two times, and she did a fantastic job. I only stayed there for one night, but the whole time, Ms. Ruiz was very accommodating, friendly, and understanding when I told her I was still breastfeeding my 1-year-old boy, as she's a mom herself. I know she was just doing her job like every other day, but she did it very well and helped me feel as comfortable as I could get. I'm truly thankful for her!

Ariane was a comforting presence from the moment I arrived as an inpatient. It was easy to rest assured with her competency and professionalism, whether taking care of IV medication or even just getting me something cold to drink. Her humanity and compassion were on full display, as Ariane was always willing to go above and beyond her duty to ensure my comfort. Even when I was lonely and had no friends or family in the area, it was easy to strike up a conversation with her and instantly feel more at home. I am so glad to have met Ariane, to have been in her care, and hope she continues to do amazing things as a nurse.
