Mr. Ricardo understood me and my perspective. There was an unmistakable connection between us from the moment of our initial encounter. I recognized that he was distinct due to his sharp demeanor. It was only later that I discovered that he was also a veteran. He was recounting an incident and described the sensation of pain, demonstrating his comprehension of my experience. He was highly effective in ensuring that I received the necessary pain management medication. We also engaged in routine conversation. It was evident that he treated me as if I were his sole patient among his group of patients. He is one of those excellent nurses you cannot find every day. He also said that he could have worked anywhere, but the fact that he is a veteran, he wanted to help fellow veterans who were in need. I found that amazing and great. That is a true patriot. As well as a veteran. So, a very special thank you to Mr. Ricardo. Ricardo undoubtedly distinguished himself. Keep making us vets proud and feeling good while we are in pain, Ricardo. Thank you!
