•    This student was nominated in recognition of her compassion and the impact that she made on the young mothers at Project Teach, an alternative high school for teen mothers.
•    Savannah brought compassionate care by creating a safe and nurturing environment where the young mothers felt heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful decisions regarding themselves and their babies.
•    She improved satisfaction and retention by approaching the health lessons with the mothers with empathy and respect. She provided health education, and emotional support and listened to them without judgment. Savannah ensured that every student felt valued and heard.
