Michelle exemplifies the heart and soul of compassionate care.
With over 40 years of dedicated service and nursing, Michelle exemplifies the heart and soul of compassionate care. Throughout her career, she has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure her patients feel safe, respected, and truly cared for. Her clinical expertise is matched only by her tenacity, confidence, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
The operating room is an overall critical area of nursing, but Michelle consistently works in one of the highest stress and intense specialties, which is vascular surgery. She does not shy away from difficult assignments, using critical thinking to deliver the absolute best, safe, and effective care to her patients. The skills that she has compiled throughout her years as a nurse have been more than inspiring to new nurses in the operating room.
Michelle can be described as strong-willed, spirited, and a tough nurse. She never leaves her operating room team or patients high and dry. After so many years, she still comes to work every day, never calls off, and shows up for her patients. If one of my family members ever needed surgery, I would want her to be involved. Michelle is the perfect example of patient advocacy. She has set the bar for the skills required in safe and effective nursing care and has, without fail, made a positive difference in countless lives.
