She leads by example and makes other nurses, such as myself, strive to do my job to the best of my ability.
We had a patient in our clinic who recently lost their daughter in a tragic accident. This patient was very tearful and was still able to make it to their treatment in the infusion clinic. A coworker had reached out to Paige to see if she could offer a few words of encouragement to the patient, as she was close with them. Paige came out of her Pod to come sit with our tearful patient and asked if she could pray with her.

The patient was so appreciative of the time and prayers that Paige gave out for her. She said that we are like family to her - and this really touched her. Paige goes above and beyond, not just for her patients, but for her coworkers as well. When I reached out to her and asked about how to move forward with getting my professional certification in oncology, she came back in a couple of days with a document with a timeline and resources, and study material for me to get started! She is such a compassionate nurse and a great friend.

Paige is an excellent nurse. She has a kind spirit and caring heart. I have watched her cry with patients and pray with them when they have received not-so-good news. about their diagnosis. I have witnessed her celebrate with her patients when they have finished their treatments or received good reports. She recently started teaching new nurses chemo classes, so she has a world of knowledge, and she shares that with her patients.

Paige is a nurse who is caring and shows compassion towards each and every one of her patients on a daily basis. She goes above and beyond to ensure that each patient is well educated with the treatment they are receiving for the day. She engages with the patients on a personal level and makes connections with them that make them feel appreciated. Paige will call patients to ensure they are able to walk into their clinic appointment, and if not, she will meet them downstairs with a wheelchair to bring them up to their appointment. Her actions show how much she truly cares for each patient.

Her kind and friendly face makes patients feel more at ease during their chemotherapy. She is a pleasure to work with each and every day. She leads by example and makes other nurses, such as myself, strive to do my job to the best of my ability. She loves to teach others, and without asking, signed up to help teach the new nurses more about chemotherapy. She is currently in school for her nursing education degree.
