From the first time I worked with Raquel in the CDU in the Emergency Department, she was very kind and caring not only to the patients but to her colleagues as well. Watching her lead her team in the CDU was nothing short of amazing. I knew when she was back there, the nurses and techs would be well taken care of. Raquel is passionate about her work, and it shows through the care that she extends to her patients. We are blessed to have an RN like Raquel working on our team.

It is my pleasure to write in support of the February 2025 DAISY Award Recipient for Mrs. Raquel Ramos. Mrs. Raquel provides outstanding care to her patients. She is incredibly attentive to her patients' needs, noticing subtle changes in their condition that others might have missed. She advocated tirelessly for her patients, ensuring they received the appropriate treatment. She always displays a genuine concern for the well-being of her patients. Mrs. Raquel consistently exemplifies the highest standards of nursing care and is an invaluable member of our float pool team. She is always willing to go the extra mile to help her colleagues, offering support and guidance whenever needed. Her positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals create a positive environment for our patients and the entire team. She is one of the few float pool nurses who has a Charge Nurse role. This is due to her exceptional patient care.
