She has provided support when school or clinical has felt hard and always has lent a helping hand.
Sue Sirianni has served both as a professor and preceptor for me and my classmates throughout our time in the acute care program. As a professor, Sue has always gone the extra mile to ensure our full understanding of the topics that she teaches. Her passion for teaching shines through the time and effort she takes to present the material in a relatable way.
As a preceptor, Sue has always worked hard to promote our growth and confidence in our everyday practice in clinical. Sue challenged our knowledge every day in clinical to deepen our understanding of weaker topics. She has provided support when school or clinical has felt hard and always has lent a helping hand. Sue has always encouraged me to pursue my passion within critical care as a provider.
Sue exudes what it means to be a well-rounded nurse practitioner and professor. She provides a lasting impact, and I hope to be as great a nurse practitioner as Sue when I start practicing. Thank you, Sue, for all you have done for our class.
Sue was also a 2010 DAISY Award Honoree!
