Professor Asher is the kindest and humblest individual with a huge heart and a passion for students to be successful. He often provides extra help to students who ask for it, no matter what he has going on. He always “shows up” for us. He's a resource when things are hard or we don’t know what to do. He is probably one of the most intelligent individuals I’ve met at South, but doesn’t have to brag about it or bulldoze his way into the spotlight (in fact, he’d probably rather not be in the spotlight at all). In this case, his students are his “patients” and his commitment, advocacy, and care are second to none. I only hope future students get to experience his kindness for years to come! Professor Robert Asher is an asset to South University Austin. He brings professionalism and compassion to the classroom, and it always shows in his teaching. He is always willing to set time aside for his students. He has a true open-door policy and makes us feel comfortable asking for help.
