I entered the recovery unit after my shoulder replacement and was immediately greeted by the gentleman who was to be my night nurse. He was the kindest and most personable person who doted on my every need and concern. I will never forget how he helped me in so many ways, knowing exactly how to put me at ease in what could have been embarrassing situations! Not with Paul - he seemed to sense all my anxiety and quickly extinguished them as he seemed to read my mind and already tend to them before I asked! He was so professional and so very, very kind. I called on him so many times throughout the night, and he was extremely attentive and did so many acts of kindness toward me. I’ll never forget him because I never experienced such a patient-oriented and devoted caretaker. Valley Hospital should be proud to retain the service of this very special and incredible individual.
