This year, we recognize the Infusion Center team for their exceptional care of oncology patients. Led by Nurse Leader Shari Kellen and Charge Nurses Tammy Ballantyne, Ashley Bruce, and Daljit Kaur, the team collaborates seamlessly across departments to create personalized, patient-centered care.
They excel in anticipating patient needs and providing compassionate care. To adapt to increased volume, they expanded hours and redesigned the center. They collaborate and help train inpatient nurses to administer chemotherapy. One patient described their experience as “coming to my mother's home, where I feel cared for, loved, safe, and protected." Their dedication has made a lasting impact on the community and the patients they serve.
