When we received devastating, unexpected news, Sadie went above and beyond to make sure that we were thoroughly taken care of and aware of our resources. She took a us back to one of the rooms and explained everything to us and let us have time to sit and process everything that we had just found out.

She sent MyChart messages checking in on us and even came down to the Pre-Op area before my procedure to make sure that I was doing okay and to provide extra reassurance that she would help see us through this difficult time. She truly went above and beyond with her compassion and caring heart.

I felt seen and heard and like she truly sympathized with our situation, and wanted to try and make the processes going forward as smooth as possible. I have never felt more cared for by a medical professional than we did this past week, thanks to Sadie. It brings us comfort knowing that such a high level of care is available to others going through similar situations like ours.

I know a DAISY nomination isn’t even close to what she deserves for how well she cared for us, but it’s a small step into getting her the recognition she deserves. Nurses like Sadie are what keep patients loyal to a clinic because she sets the bar so high for the level of care they will receive. So thank you, Sadie, from the bottom of our hearts and for the role you played in getting us through a terrible situation. We are truly blessed to have you on our care team.
