Abegail also found a way to make me smile and even laugh through the pain.
I’ve been to nearly every hospital in Al Ain, and I have been admitted to Mediclinic Al Ain due to complications from a surgery performed in another facility. Through all of this, I can say with absolute confidence that Abegail is the best nurse I have ever encountered, not just in this hospital, but in the entire UAE.
From the moment she started caring for me, Abegail brought a sense of calm I hadn’t felt in weeks. Each time she walked into my room, it felt like peace arrived with her. She never waited for me to call the bell; she checked in regularly, always asking if I was comfortable, if I had eaten, or had anything to drink. Her care made me feel truly seen, valued, and safe.
What touched me most was how she helped with even the smallest things with such patience and kindness, assisting me to the bathroom without ever making me feel like I was a burden. She never rushed. Her presence alone was soothing and healing. Abegail also found a way to make me smile and even laugh through the pain. Her sense of humor was effortless, and it lifted my spirits exactly when I needed it most. But above all, it was her words — “You will be okay,” — that gave me strength. In that moment, she didn’t just care for my body. She cared for my heart and soul. Abegail is more than a nurse. She is an angel, and I will never forget the comfort, hope, and strength she gave me during one of the hardest times of my life.
