She truly has a heart of gold. Her compassion, tenderness, gentle touch, her patience, great sense of humor, and a true spirit. You just know that this is her calling. Took the time to explain the medicine, the effects, and why the doctor prescribed the medicine, and most importantly, she knows her stuff. Don't get me wrong, there are so many nurses I've met who belong here, because they actually care, but the one that sticks out and shines bright like the sun. Someone who will make sure your needs are met, whether it be ice water, to get the pillow, or to ask, "What are you doing?" Which we all know means a lot. That's why it's always the little things that mean the most. Even when a patient is not so much or just maybe had a hard time on another floor, there's KoKo to the rescue. She's just a natural comforter, natural healer, good listener, actually a great listener! My stay here made all the difference with KoKo being my nurse. I thank the Lord above for placing Ms KoKo in my path. I just want to say from the bottom of my heart, Ms. KoKo, thank you for everything you've done and everything you're doing now.
