Tami Denton has served in many capacities at Midlands over the last 40 years, spending many years as a critical care nurse. As a leader, Tami strived for clinical excellence and ensured the Papillion and Sarpy community was served. Over the years, she has been pivotal in many operational changes at Midlands, including the closing of ICU and OB/GYN services. Tami led the Midlands team through the challenges COVID-19 by partnering with the state of Nebraska in offering immunization clinics, BAM unit, and a safe place for evacuated nursing homes. Most recently, she has championed the efforts in opening the first VA Community Living Center in a hospital within the country.
