His needs and wants were met in a timely manner with knowledge, empathy, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
When I came to the Emergency Department, extremely unwell and seeking help for my mental health and alcohol abuse issues, this nurse made me feel there was absolutely no judgment. She was extremely caring and kind to me, showing a lot of compassion. I have come to the ED before and have had absolutely awful experiences, but this time was different. She advocated for me, and as I said, there was no judgment whatsoever. She is an amazing nurse.

When my father got sick and had to be transferred to a Des Moines hospital, his only wish was to come back to Jefferson and to Greene County Medical Center, where you are treated like family. His wishes were granted, and he spent his last week on Earth in excellent care by a superb nurse. She was not only skilled but also very professional, caring, and compassionate. His needs and wants were met in a timely manner with knowledge, empathy, attention to detail, and good communication skills. We were also treated as family, which helped us to understand what was happening. It was a positive atmosphere in a time of turmoil and grief. Because of her, our last few days with Dad were memorable. He was in good hands and enjoyed this nurse’s happy personality. We appreciate it all! She is a super nurse, and Greene County Medical Center is lucky to have her!
