My husband had an umbilical surgery today, and my health was failing when I needed so badly to be his helper/caregiver. So, imagine my embarrassment when at lunch, I struggled with my MS along with nerves in my neck and arm to the point of acting like a non-functioning individual. I say that to say this, a female employee rushed to my aid, carried my big gray bag and cafeteria tray, then overwhelmed me by purchasing my lunch. I could not read her name tag because I could not turn my head soon enough. I really wanted to thank her again for her Random Act of Kindness. Usually, I am the one helping, but on this day, I truly found out how profound one simple act feels.
