Ryann is such a beautiful, kind human being, and those qualities are evident in her methods of patient care.
I just wanted to take a moment to express how incredibly grateful I am for the care that was provided to my dear sister during her stay in the SICU. I specifically would like to recognize Nurse Ryann!! I don’t think I could say enough about the absolutely stellar care she provided to my sister, of course, but also to myself and my family. Ryann is such a beautiful, kind human being, and those qualities are evident in her methods of patient care. She was extremely knowledgeable and supportive, always taking the time to further explain a plan, answer our questions, or page a team member. Everything was done with such professionalism, but most importantly with a gentle kindness and a compassionate heart. We truly just adored her and were so relieved knowing my sister was in her care.
As I mentioned, she didn’t just take care of my sister, but she was always checking in with me and asking if I needed anything, and sometimes just stuck around to listen to me share a nice memory or story about my sister. It was so evident how much she truly cared. Before my sister's surgery, while she was still intubated and sedated, before she left her shift, she stopped to give my sister words of encouragement and then did the same for me. I was honestly moved to tears that she was leaving because I felt such a deep gratitude for all she had done for us in such a short amount of time. When we look back on this tragic event, we will absolutely remember Ryann and will be forever grateful.
