Holly's compassion, professionalism, and calm presence made a lasting impact not only on the patient in her care, but on everyone around her. I was admitted to Banner Baywood in May, for health reasons. This was a new experience for me because I’ve had excellent health. She went out of her way to make me comfortable and welcome my husband of 53 years. She answered all of our questions and never made us feel like any task was too small or unnecessary.

We made a personal connection and hope to see her in the fall when we return from our primary home out of state. I was very lucky to have Holly as my nurse, and I want to thank her for her dedication to this challenging profession. Holly approaches her role with a mix of clinical excellence and genuine empathy. She doesn’t just perform tasks, she pays attention. She notices when something is off. She explains what’s happening, easing anxiety and building trust. Her confidence and kindness create a safe space for healing.

What stood out to me most was Holly’s ability to handle difficult moments with strength and grace. She knew when to advocate, when to listen, and when to step in. She clearly sees each patient as a person, not just a diagnosis. She takes an interest in each of her patients and has excellent rapport with all staff.
