Callie has always been an amazing role model, but her recent exemplary actions have left me speechless. We recently received a baby in our unit whose mother signed over her rights at birth and made the decision not to be a part of her life. Ever since baby girl arrived on the unit, Callie has gone above and beyond to make baby girl feel loved and supported in the absence of her biological family. Callie has decorated her room so nicely and even created a beautiful journal where the nurses document some of their most precious memories with her, so that the baby girl can know that she has truly been loved from day one.

Another memory that sticks with me is when Callie gave me my very first workplace award in 2023. Callie is the epitome of a great nurse and an inspiration for me to follow my dreams of becoming a nurse. She is the perfect candidate for this award.
