My husband’s recent medical emergency was both shocking and unexpected. Anju knew that both my husband and I were concerned about this sudden turn of events, and she went above and beyond in providing not just medical care, but also emotional support during this, one of the most difficult moments of my life. She has a gift in her ability to explain complex medical procedures in understandable terms, while always maintaining a caring and reassuring demeanor. At one point, I left the patient room and was met by Anju, who again offered reassuring words and gave me a hug. It was just a simple hug, but in that moment, it was the reassurance and comfort that I very much needed. What sets this nurse apart is her remarkable ability to connect with patients on a personal level.
