I would like to nominate Aidan for the DAISY Award in recognition of the outstanding care and compassion he provided to my father during his time in the ICU. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure my father's comfort, dignity, and peace, especially as he neared the end of his life. 

He took the time to walk us through every aspect of my father's care, explaining what to expect and how we could support his comfort. His clear communication and calm presence gave us reassurance during a very difficult time. 

What stood out the most was his empathy and attentiveness, not just to my father, but to our entire family. He was incredibly patient and understanding as we asked many questions and never made us feel like a burden. 

One moment that truly touched us was when he brought in extra chairs for my sisters and me so that we could sit by my father’s side and hold his hand. That simple act gave us the comfort of being close to him and meant more than words can express. 

His kindness, professionalism, and human connection made an immeasurable difference in our experience. We will always be grateful for the care and compassion he showed in our father's final days.
