Even though it’s been a few days since I came home from the hospital after having a stroke, I keep thinking about the people who took care of me while there. So many expressions of kindness from the staff fill my mind. They really seemed to care about me and my recovery.

One person I’d like to nominate is Tanya, who treated me with kindness and respect throughout my stay. Her confident presence made me feel less anxious about being in the hospital. I feel like she cared and understood me. She advocated for me when needed. She is good at listening too, so I felt heard. I want to thank Tanya for taking excellent care of me and for treating me with love and respect. May God bless her and her co-workers, each and every one! Thank you all! Tanya brought the DAISY and Sunshine to my room, and brightened my spirit!! Thank you, Tanya!!
