This nurse goes above and beyond, daily treating everyone she encounters with a joyous smile and warm comfort. Whenever someone needs help with passing their meds or preparing a patient to go for testing, she is always the first person to help. She exemplifies teamwork and a loving heart towards every patient on her unit. As a patient transporter, it's important for patients to be ready. She stepped up and made sure a patient was ready to go to their appointment, even though it wasn't her assigned patient for the day. She also accompanied me when taking the patient to IR because of the patient's meds and a nurse needed to come down. She volunteered willingly and without hesitation. Her work ethic speaks volumes, and she is a great example of a dedicated leader who is always uplifting to others. She is a great asset to the nursing profession.
