Her energy is amazing from the beginning of her shift to the end of the shift. She goes way over the call of duty to make you feel comfortable.
What an understanding, compassionate, caring nurse! My husband was lucky enough to have Kayla as his nurse while on 4th floor. She makes you feel like you are the only patient taking her time to do her duties and get to know the family. She is always upbeat although she went through her own health issues, and uses that experience to help others to keep a positive attitude to get healthy. Her energy is amazing from the beginning of her shift to the end of the shift. She goes way over the call of duty to make you feel comfortable. Anyone who has Kayla as a nurse is very lucky because she is very special. An angel nurse. She's like a family member.

My dad had been in the hospital for a week, and at that point, we were still looking for answers to what was affecting my dad. It was very frustrating for my dad and also for my mom (his wife). Kayla was his day nurse for those 3 days. Even though the family was stressed and frustrated as we continued to search for answers, Kayla was very helpful and kind to my dad. She comforted him while we waited for answers on his condition. Kayla did not just put my dad at ease, but also provided comfort, humor, and whatever was needed/necessary or not even necessary during our stay. Our family was very thankful for her attention, comfort, and good nature at a very difficult time for us all. My family has been around many nurses over the years, and she is definitely one of the tops.

Kayla was very nice and capable. She informed our family all the time about what was happening. Thank you, Kayla.
