From the moment Yaribeth was assigned to us, we knew we were going to be in good, compassionate hands. My wife was scheduled for removal of a 9mm kidney stone, and stent that had been previously inserted. She entered the hospital in extreme pain & discomfort, and feeling very beaten. From the start, Yari demonstrated professionalism and understanding of the situation (We later found out the kidney stone had once again "dropped" and blocked the ureter, resulting in additional pain.) We were fortunate to have Yari attending to my wife pre and post-surgery. Throughout the entire time, Yari was extremely skilled in her ability to be empathetic, informative, and always delivered care with a smile. She made a BAD situation MUCH more tolerable. She was able to insert the IV on the first try (other nurses for previous surgeries had great difficulty). During the post-op instructions, she took the extra time to explain things in great detail and even highlighted certain info. My wife felt "heard" and safe from the moment she entered Yari’s care.
