This year, we are proud to recommend Ms MARCELLE D CARTONEROS CIV HR, an exemplary nurse designated as Assistant Head Nurse at Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as the Civilian Human Resource of the Year, CY 2025, a tribute to her exceptional dedication, professional ethics, and remarkable attitude to work.

She holds fast to all foundational ethical principles, moral values and standards of care in nursing practice. She serves as an advocate to patients and a mediator to the doctors and other health care professionals from various disciplines in order to deliver the best possible patient care and come up to an improved decision-making. She is fervent in delivering competent care, carrying out treatment plans, educating the patients, listening intently to patients’ thoughts and concerns, offering explanations regarding diagnostics, treatment, and procedures, clarifying and answering patients’ questions, ensuring safety, and securing comprehensive documentation.
