Bethany is a wonderful House Supervisor! She is fair and objective. She doesn’t favor one department over the other. She genuinely strives to do what is best for the patient, and she advocates for the staff on every unit. She is proactive when it comes to patient flow and assigns beds quickly. She communicates well and rounds often. Even though she has her own duties, she never hesitates to come down to the emergency department and help whenever it’s needed. She administers medications, updates vital signs, starts IVs, draws blood samples, transports patients to other units, assists with patient transfers to other facilities, and collaborates with providers to expedite patient movement through the ER. Because of her role, she doesn’t need to do any of these things, but she does them and never complains. She is a great resource for the travel RNs. If she doesn’t have the answers, she finds the answers and then circles back. Bethany is a true asset to the night shift and HMC!
