Denise was awesome at starting my daughter's IV. My adult daughter has small veins that tend to roll, and starting IVs is always a challenge. She got it on the 1st try. Kudos!

Denise was awesome. She made my wife comfortable and as relaxed as possible when being prepped for surgery. She made sure all my wife’s questions were answered and that we both understood the process of pre- and post op care. She helped make a very scary morning much easier to take.

I would like to nominate Denise Olson from Pre-Op Surgery B for a DAISY Award. I was in pre op for a procedure that no expecting mother should ever have to go through. In such a difficult time, Denise was always the light shining through. She somehow, through all of the hardship, made the situation less heavy and bearable. Denise is someone who has left a lasting impact not only on me, but also on my husband and family. We will never be able to repay her for what she did for us on possibly the worst day of our lives. She truly was the angel we didn't know we needed, and for that, we will forever be thankful she was ours that day.
