Pat was very attentive to my needs. The room temperature was 68 degrees, and I was still sweating and couldn’t sleep. He went out of his way to make me comfortable, allowing me to sleep and rest. Constantly explained my medication and why it was being used. Delivered my medication on time. Checked on me more than required as if I were their father. First to reach me when I fell to the floor from the bed. Ensured I stayed in bed to assure safety.
Thoroughly relayed the doctor’s instructions. He kept my wife thoroughly informed. Walked the halls four times a day, closely monitoring my blood pressure. Spent time with me, listening to what I had to say, assured me that I had a future, always making sure my wife and I were comfortable and informed. Always had my best interest, advocating for me with doctors about concerns. Went out of his way to ensure my comfort, got my nightly ice cream, answered the call button quite quickly, answered questions, and got answers from doctors for me. He quickly assessed me when I was unconscious on the floor, calling a code for immediate response. Checked on me very frequently. Made me a priority, kept my wife calm and informed.
