She listened to us all and treated us with dignity and respect.
My brother David passed away peacefully. During the last 7 days, we stayed as much as we could and for the night handover so we could talk to the nurse looking after him. Goodness would come into the side room and introduce herself to us all and talk to David. Nothing was too much trouble to provide anything for him. She would take her time to talk to us, what our thoughts were and was aware of our wish for one of us to be with David when he passed away. She listened to us all and treated us with dignity and respect. Her clinical judgement was exemplary when she advised us on the night of 18/12/24 for one of us to stay. I was therefore with my brother when he passed away, and she looked after me with drinks and snacks. Goodness demonstrated compassion, was extremely caring, and is a true asset to your nursing team. We always left with confidence when Goodness was on duty. She gained trust immediately, demonstrating the values and behaviours of your Trust and the nursing profession.
