Our surrogate was under the Home Birth team and due to have our first child. Claire was our named midwife throughout the pregnancy. This was our surrogates first surrogacy journey and our first baby, my husband and I were very nervous and didn't know how the process would work and if the team had experienced a surrogacy pregnancy. But Claire went above and beyond, she researched everything she needed to ensure that she knew how to support us and give us the best care and outcome, she answered all the questions we had and kept us informed on everything. She came out regularly and, where possible, completed all the visits to ensure we had continuity. With the NHS scans, she made sure that we were all allowed to attend and that we had extra time for appointments to enable us to feel supported. Claire not only helped us, but she was also incredible with our surrogate, making sure she had everything and attending more often to check on her and our baby. Best experience!
