I am writing to enthusiastically nominate Maj. Meghan Witten, a Nurse Practitioner in our Mental Health Clinic. Her skills and insights have improved not only her practice but the overall performance of the department.

This was particularly evident during the tragic loss of one of our patients to suicide. This allowed the team to process the event and contribute to improving the system of care.

Beyond her clinical and supervisory duties, Maj Witten has taken on the responsibility of being the sole prescribing provider since last August. She readily accepts walk-in appointments, addresses complex patient cases, and always goes the extra mile to ensure that patients receive the care they need.
