She gave him info on a Spanish-speaking church in the area, and he was thrilled because he’s been talking about trying to find one to attend for years with no success.
My father was seen for just under a week and was treated very kindly by everyone he encountered. He refused to go to the hospital before this visit, even though his doctor mentioned he wanted to test him for cancer. He had no trust in doctors. This experience has changed his entire perspective. Every doc, nurse, and aide really made this the best experience for my dad and my family. The most recent nurse, Rosany, has been one of his favorite nurses. He speaks Spanish. He doesn’t completely understand English. She spoke Spanish to him, and it helped him feel at ease and more comfortable because he could comprehend more in Spanish. The first interaction we had when arriving at the hospital was bragging about her as his nurse with a big smile on his face. She gave him info on a Spanish-speaking church in the area, and he was thrilled because he’s been talking about trying to find one to attend for years with no success. There was a doctor who spoke Spanish, but I didn’t catch his name. If I could write a thank you to each and every one of the doctors, nurses, and aides at the ER, critical care, and at his normal hospital room. They were all amazing and made my father and our family feel as comfortable as possible. Thank you all so much for saving his life and being so caring and compassionate!
