Elizabeth's informative yet soft approach helped our ailing mother come to terms with some difficult yet much-needed diagnosis and treatment information.
My 73-year-old mother came into the ER with several issues. Primarily, a stage 3 cancer diagnosis is newly diagnosed and has many other difficulties. In what has become a regular occurrence in hospital visits, good bedside manner is important. We have experienced good nurses and bad ones. Elizabeth came in with a plethora of information and knowledge. She made sure to be clear and very attentive to both our mother and us to ensure we left feeling satisfied with any questions or answers. Her demeanor left us feeling like we were her own family. This wasn't just her doing a job; she cares 150% about the patients. Elizabeth's informative yet soft approach helped our ailing mother come to terms with some difficult yet much-needed diagnosis and treatment information. As a family member, I felt that she took extra time to ensure that I was also fully satisfied each day before I left. As difficult as this journey has been, it's people like her who ease the burden on families in these situations. I can't express enough how grateful my family is to have someone treat us with such kindness and compassion. Your hospital definitely benefits from employees of Elizabeth's caliber. Thank you to the rest of the supporting staff, nurses, doctors, and ED personnel involved in my mother's care.
