Anna made the decision independently to honor all the work we do day in and day out. Using her own funds, she created a tree with different color leaves representing each and every baby born here at St. Joseph's. Anna even thought to include the fetal demises by representing them with a butterfly.

Anna has thoughtfully considered how to pull in all stakeholders, including physicians and EVS, patients, nurses, and ancillary staff have all stopped by our tree to see all the births at St. Joseph's. Anna did not have to think of extra work, but she did; she wanted something unique and special for our department. Anna deserves to be recognized for her inspirational heart.
