Mr. Simreen didn’t just provide medical help; he brought humanity, courage, and heart when it was needed most.
It was a regular workday, and the HR team was in the middle of interviewing candidates for nursing positions. Suddenly, one of our HR colleagues received a heartbreaking phone call—his father had been found unresponsive at home. Without hesitation, he rushed out of the interview room, overwhelmed with fear and worry.
Mr. Simreen, one of our dedicated nurses, immediately followed him. Acting purely out of compassion and professional instinct, he made his way to the colleague’s home and, remarkably, arrived even before the paramedics.
Without a second thought, Mr. Simreen initiated CPR and did everything in his power to revive the patient. When the emergency team arrived, he continued assisting them and helped transfer the patient to the Emergency Department.
Sadly, despite all efforts, the colleague’s father could not be saved. But in the midst of this tragic moment, Mr. Simreen’s actions stood out as a powerful example of what it truly means to be a nurse.
His ability to act quickly, his selflessness, and his unwavering commitment to care for others—even outside the hospital walls—reflect the true spirit of nursing. Mr. Simreen didn’t just provide medical help; he brought humanity, courage, and heart when it was needed most.
