Understanding that the patient could not read, Devyn personally created detailed, color-coded instructional sheets for the patient, drawing step-by-step illustrations of how to properly use his diabetes management tools.

From setting up the glucometer to injecting insulin, Devyn’s clear, visual instructions ensured the patient felt confident and empowered to manage his care once discharged. The patient was incredibly grateful and referred to the instruction sheets each time he checked his blood sugar until the day of discharge, when he took them home.
