It took me weeks to figure out how to put into words how wonderful Lauren was. She is probably the sweetest nurse I have ever met. We had to take my dad off life support. The day that we were at the hospital, she was nothing but a ray of sunshine, lighting up the room whenever she came in, just making sure that we were all okay and making sure my dad was comfortable, constantly checking in with each of us in the room, making sure we didn't need anything. She went out of her way to bring us snacks and water, and constantly brought us warm blankets and extra pillows while we were in the room, just talking to us. She even told us about how she had just lost her father, so she knew exactly what we were going through. She just let us talk about all the fun memories of my dad and didn't judge us when we made jokes about my dad, and just listened to us. After my dad passed away, she helped with every step of getting a hold of the funeral home and gave me the largest hug and just made me feel so much kindness in such a sad time. You guys have such a wonderful nurse.
