My grandma, Marilyn Marshall, was admitted after a complication with a major lung surgery. Chei was her nurse for 3 days, and she advocated for my grandma to get the care she needed. My grandma was admitted for 3 days with no improvement and no answers before Chei came on as her nurse. She advocated and pushed the doctor for more testing and consultations. When the doctor said no to a CT scan, she fought the doctor for one to be ordered. We are very thankful for the care she provided to my grandma! During all of this, we had a family wedding that my grandma was going to miss. Chei worked with us to make sure that a livestream was available for her to watch and helped out with any technology issues. She also said that if grandma had been discharged that day, she would have helped her get ready and done whatever we needed for grandma to be wedding-ready!
