Sydney is a special person. She always has a smile when she comes into your room. Seems like nothing upsets her. She loves her job and her patients! Sydney was always asking if everything was okay and if I needed anything. She did this like she had no other patients in her care, when I knew the floor was full.

If I had any questions, she had the answers. She is very knowledgeable. I never had to wait when I rang the bell. Sydney always came in with a smile to see what I needed. When she took care of me, she always wanted me to feel safe and comfortable. She asked about my family and my dog. She tried to get to know me. I am sure she does this with all her patients to make them feel comfortable. It helps her get to know them so that she can do her job better.

When you are in the hospital, it is always nice to talk to someone when you might not have anyone there visiting. Nurses work hard and are very busy. But Sydney makes you feel that you are the most important. Sydney makes the patient her number one priority. She makes the stay very comfortable. Thank you to Sydney and all the other nurses and PCTs on this floor. It was a pleasant stay for a very scary and serious situation.
