Her compassion in which she treated me, in my situation, was nothing more than a living angel.
I had the pleasure to have Kylee take care of me while I was in the hospital for unknown reasons when I was seeing double, having blurred vision, nausea, weakness, and unstable. All of this happened since my mom passed away 2 weeks earlier. Kylee was very gracious, not only showing respect for my mom, who just passed, but also talking in a soft voice to keep me calm, dealing with the tremendous loss of my mom. Her compassion in which she treated me, in my situation, was nothing more than a living angel. Kylee would explain everything in great detail so I could understand what tests were being done and explain to me exactly what the doctors told me in layman's terms. I came into this hospital at the worst point in my 66 years, and never did I expect to find an angel whose main concern is helping me stay level through all the trauma of my mother's death, and she stayed on task to keep me updated the whole time she was with me. My mother and I have spent many days here at Advent, and this is the first time we were assigned to this RN, who has a huge heart and shows all the love to her patients.

Kylee was pulled to the 3rd floor and helped respond to a rapid in 312b. She had taken care of this patient and dealt with the family member during his stay on PCU, so she was familiar with them. She brought the wife out of the room while the rapid team attended to the patient. She was so kind and calming to her. She explained everything that was happening with the patient and what each staff member's role was during the rapid. She updated her about each task and test that were performed. She got the wife a chair and leaned down to her level to be more personable. I was just so amazed at how she stepped in and helped with the family aspect of the situation. Kylee is truly an amazing nurse, and her wife explained to me how thankful she was for her. Kylee went above and beyond!
