Allison went above and beyond for my husband and me after I gave birth. As a first-time mom those nights in the hospital was the hardest for us but she watched our daughter for us multiple times to make sure that we were both getting sleep, she always made sure I was feeling good or if I needed something she never hesitated to get me anything I asked for. She assisted in my birth, and I could not have had a better birthing experience thanks to her and my OB. She helped me right after birth when I was literally at my lowest, not knowing how to take care of myself postpartum. I cannot thank her enough for making me feel like I was not alone during those long nights in the hospital. I truly appreciate the way she cares about her patients and loves her job. She taught us so much, like different ways to burp our daughter, how to relieve gas, how to swaddle our baby, and she helped me with breastfeeding, which is the hardest thing I’ve had to do. She was so great with my daughter and I, I cannot thank her enough for all the help she gave my husband and I. She truly is amazing at what she does.

Allison is an above-and-beyond labor and delivery nurse. Her joy was contagious, and her knowledge superb. She made sure all questions were answered, and we were all at ease with the entire process. She took excellent care of my daughter-in-law. I am visiting from out of state for the birth of my first grandbaby and was so impressed with the care at Stillwater Medical. Allison has been one of our daughters' nurses. She has been absolutely amazing at every point of her birthing experience. E feels so comfortable with her. She was so encouraging during the birth. Her techniques in positions and her assistance in helping her progress through labor were unbelievable! She has also been a huge help in her learning to breastfeed. We are overwhelmed with gratitude that they have had such an angel care for them!

Allison went above and beyond in caring for our baby and supporting our recovering mom. She went even further, teaching us about baby care, along with helpful tips and techniques. Just a few of the items Allison taught include nursing position methods, lactation techniques, a swaddling class for the whole family, soothing techniques, how to interpret different types of crying and fussiness, and post-surgery care. Her commitment to caring for mom after surgery was stellar, and her preparation for us for what to expect after release from the hospital has been very helpful. Thank you!
