I would like to nominate Sydney for the DAISY Award for the exceptional care she provided during my recent 8-hour back surgery at Memorial Medical Center. Having undergone 17 surgeries in my lifetime, I can confidently say that Sydney stands out as one of the kindest, caring, and attentive nurses I have ever encountered. Her dedication to patient care went above and beyond, making a profound difference during a challenging and painful time for me.

Throughout my recovery, Sydney was always on time with my medications, ensuring I never had to wait in discomfort. She consistently checked in with me, asking if I needed anything, and her observant nature meant she often anticipated my needs before I even had to ask. For example, she noticed subtle changes in my demeanor and immediately addressed my pain levels, adjusting my care as needed. Her attentiveness to my pain was remarkable - she always listened carefully when I expressed concerns or reported increased discomfort, taking swift action to ensure I was as comfortable as possible.
