One morning, our team faced a sudden and overwhelming OB PPH emergency. As Labor and Delivery nurses arriving with our patient to the OR/PACU, we were in an unfamiliar environment, feeling a mix of urgency and concern for our patient’s well-being.

In that critical moment, Joe (Jose) met us with calm, kindness, and unwavering support. He did not just guide us; he reassured us. Joe’s professionalism was matched by his compassion, making us feel seen, understood, and truly part of the team even in the midst of chaos.

Joe stepped in without hesitation, working alongside us to ensure our patient received the immediate, life-saving care she needed. We are deeply grateful for Joe’s empathy, teamwork, and dedication in a moment when every second counted.

In the short time I spent with Joe (Jose), he was attentive, patient, and caring as I recovered from anesthesia. He knew I wanted to eat later on and made sure the kitchen brought me a meal before closing, even though it was late.

He ensured I was warm and comfortable at all times. As I rested, I overheard how he interacted with other patients and staff, and I knew he was someone very special.

Joe is amazing, and I just want to say thank you for caring and for being so patient.
