Cory is such an amazing nurse. You can tell that she was born to be one. Even with everything that she was trying to juggle outside of just me, when she was with me, she gave all of her focus on me and made me her top priority as soon as she stepped into my room.

Right now, I'm not feeling good because my body is showing it's worn out from what's been going on with me (13 anaphylactic reactions), and she completely changed her voice volume with me as soon as I developed a headache. Cory gave me options on what to try to combat it, because I'm having issues swallowing pills right now. And above everything else, Cory placed my lunch order for me, so I didn't have to hold the phone to my ear, potentially making my headache worse.

Cory is treating me as a normal person, not just a patient that she is taking care of in a hospital. She takes care of me like I am one of her own, and it makes being here a lot more tolerable because she helps to provide a sense of humanity, not just the hospital vibes.
