Since I began working here, I've noticed that Landon is perhaps one of the best caregivers for the patients up in our Behavioral Health Unit. He's incredibly kind, cheerful, and truly is passionate about the job he does. One notable example I've seen is his dealings with some of our patients who are having a difficult time or often get upset or have troubles during their stay. Landon always takes time to talk with them, ask questions, understand their viewpoints, and offer solutions that help the patient in the way they need. Recently, we have had a patient who has been struggling during their stay here. They are very bored and have had a difficult time adjusting to being here. But when that patient is with Landon, the patient seems to be having a blast. Landon plays games with them, listens to their stories, and when the patient is having a rough moment, Landon is there talking the patient through it. I can say without a doubt that due to Landon, a few incidents have definitely been nullified before they even had a chance to begin. And even when an incident does happen with this patient, Landon is there on standby, ready to help at a moment's notice. This patient isn't the only example of this, as I've seen Landon do it with many others. You can just tell by talking with Landon that he truly cares for each of these patients and wants to see their success and growth going forward.

Landon's actions are very positive to the patients he interacts with. From small things such as grabbing them snacks or drinks, to calming them down while they're having a rough moment, Landon seems to be a solid anchor for these patients he interacts with. Time and time again, I've seen him help mitigate an incident before it happens, or just bring a smile to a patient's face when they've had a rough day. And that isn't all. Landon does his part of the work and more, and it's clear he's an extremely valuable member of this team. He's constantly making other caregivers smile and laugh, and he himself has a contagious optimism about things. I've never heard him speak ill of anyone, and he always seems to be pursuing ways to improve his knowledge to help those he can. He's an incredible team player, whether it's dealing with a tough patient or doing his part of the workload.
